Each Peacemaker Network can create and disseminate free biblical peacemaking tools (e.g., Reconciled or the PeaceMeal weekly devotional) that introduce people to biblical peacemaking at no cost, to spur interested parties to explore peacemaking on their own.
-
Each Peacemaker Network can host events to introduce other pastors and churches in their community to biblical peacemaking. These events can be very wide-ranging: anything from community-wide Peacemaker Seminars to annual Reconciliation Sundays. The network can hold peacemaking community outreach events designed to bring peacemaking into rescue missions, prisons, battered women's shelters, drop-in centers for youth, or even meetings between rival gangs in a community. Peacemaker Ministries can assist with these events, providing counsel, coaching, and facilitating, or helping to bring in speakers and raising the necessary funds.
-
Each Peacemaker Network can ensure that member churches maintain a high level of communication with each other, in order to deal with issues like members who "drift" from one church to another to avoid discipline, or potential scams and scandals that can negatively affect the Christian community as a whole.
-
Each Peacemaker Network can host a local subsection on the Peacemaker Ministries website to facilitate local and regional communication and awareness of training events and peacemaking opportunities.
-
Each Peacemaker Network can hold regular, periodic Peacemaker Network meetings to encourage each other and listen to speakers from Peacemaker Ministries or other Peacemaker Ministries-certified individuals.
-
Each Peacemaker Network can counsel and advise Peacemaker Ministries on resources (books, magazines, programs, websites, etc.) that local churches need in order to facilitate their peacemaking work. Peacemaker Ministries would then take the lead in raising the necessary funds and creating the resources.
-
Each Peacemaker Network can contribute articles and ideas to the Reconciled and the PeaceMeal devotional.
-
Each Peacemaker Network can help peacemaker churches join together in mission outreach, working with Peacemaker Ministries' International division to sponsor peacemaking mission trips from one church community in the US to another church community overseas.
